As part of Instinct #14, we are delighted to invite the Berlin Queer Writers Circle and authors from the Village Book Club to share their words of desire in fiction, erotica, essays and reflections. After the reading, the group will talk about how they approach writing about desire.<\/p>\n

Alan Lessik
\n<\/span><\/strong>Alan Lessik\u2013is a novelist, Zen practitioner, figure skater and queer activist. With an interest in how novels preserve queer culture, he has two published novels\u2013The Troubleseeker and Make the Dark Night Shine\u2013and his work has appeared in Lambda Literary, the Bay Area Reporter, and Advocate.\u00a0alanlessik.com<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Alexandre Cheves
\n<\/span><\/strong>Alexander Cheves\u2013 is the author of My Love Is a Beast: Confessions from Unbound Edition Press. He writes the \u201cLast Call\u201d sex column in Out Magazine and contributes regularly to The Advocate and other LGBTQ publications. He is currently working as editor-in-chief of Hinterhaus, a Berlin nightlife magazine that will launch next year.\u00a0alexcheves.com<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

\u200b<\/span><\/span>Andrew Marshall
\n<\/span><\/strong>Andrew Marshall<\/span>\u2013<\/span>\u00a0is a therapist and writer. He is the author of twenty self-help books that have been translated into twenty languages. His best known title is \u201aI Love You But I\u2019m Not In Love With You\u2018. He also hosts the Podcast, The Meaningful Life with Andrew G Marshall. Andrew is one of the founders of the Berlin Queer Writers Circle.\u00a0andrewgmarshall.com<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0couplestherapy.berlin<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

\u200b<\/span><\/span>David Le Guillermic
\n<\/span><\/strong>David Le Guillermic\u2013 is a Berlin-based Franco-British author and cultural correspondent for French broadsheet Lib\u00e9ration. He co-curates the Village\u2019s monthly Movie Night and is currently working on two literary projects on queer working-class youths in the Paris urban peripheries.\u00a0david.leguillermic@berlin.de<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Marco A<\/span>stolfi
\n<\/span><\/strong>Marco Astolfi\u2013is a literature translator, a writer and a faerie from Italy. Based in Berlin, he co-hosts the Vi<\/span>llage Heart Circle for GBTQ men as well as hosting the Book Club meetings. He\u2019s currently working on his novel My Big Bro.\u00a0therealwrongboy@gmail.com<\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Nikolaj Tange Lange
\n<\/span><\/strong>Nikolaj Tange Lange\u2013is a musician, porn actor, and a former member of the Copenhagen queer art collective \u201adunst\u2018.
