Safe to Receive: Trust, Touch & Pleasure

Sensual Touch Lab Series with Jason King

What kind of touch leads one to feel truly changed?

Where we can be touched beyond the skin, beyond the surface, and something in our body, heart or soul feels met…
Many of us long for a form of physical connection that goes beyond the surface. Yet we often don’t know how to get there, or how to step out of our habitual patterns of connection. In order to be touched on deeper levels, we have to first feel safe enough, and to trust. Safe in our bodies, and trusting our partner.
When we land in a place of safety and trust, our body naturally opens, and our experience of sensuality can become layered, full and alive.
Often our sensual encounters don’t leave us satisfied, because the experience stays on the surface.
The Heart of Sensuality is an evening to discover embodied practices, ways of slowing down, listening to the body, and deepening presence, to deepen trust with your partner and with yourself. And from this place of trust, to be able to let go and more deeply receive, in the body, care, sensuality, and pleasure.

What to expect
• Short embodiment practices to help us get out of our heads and land in our bodies
• Embodied relating exercises to help build trust with your partners. How can we use touch and presence to deepen our intimacy and connection beyond words, while staying attuned to our boundaries and limits?
• Sensual massage techniques to wake up sensual energy in the body
• Getting to give and receive a 20-minute sensual massage ritual.
• Nudity is welcome, but the workshop does not include genital touch.
• You will be partnered up with many other participants throughout the workshop. While partnering is often random, all practices are optional and consent is a focus throughout the evening.

What is Sensual Touch Lab Series for GBTQ+ Men*?
Sensual Touch Lab Series for GBTQ+ Men* is a monthly workshop where we aim to create a space for sensual closeness and playful encounters.
Embodied, somatic experiences that appreciate our full-bodied nature. Using sensuality as an approach to explore new ways of dealing with our own fears or patterns related to nudity, intimacy, and touch. We invite you to explore, communicate, and possibly expand your personal boundaries within a framework of mutual respect and consent. This opens up the opportunity to experience the power of touch, sensation, and non-verbal interpersonal connection.
Each event will be a guided process, which will have a special touch depending on the theme and background of the facilitator*, whether it be bodywork and touch, somatics and intimacy, or something else. These short workshops may include nudity, partner exercises or close physical interactions.
