Queer people in remote regions or with special challenges, such as language, cultural or logistical barriers, often lack access to queer services and communities. With “Queer Connect” we are creating a digital platform that fills this gap and provides a variety of creative, psychosocial and socio-cultural offers.

Our project offers a variety of free activities accessible through our expanded website. These include:

• Creative workshops and artistic expressions
• Body-based and resilience-strengthening courses
• Psychosocial support formats
• Queer political discussions and information
• Networking opportunities with other queer people and organizations
• Through regular online events, we create a safe and discrimination-sensitive space in which participants can develop personally and socially.

With “Queer Connect” we not only promote networking within the queer community, but also social participation and integration. We want all participants to recognize their strengths and resources, build new friendships and networks, and find their way better in their environment. Our platform also offers the opportunity to address topics such as loneliness, asylum and flight, mental health and other relevant focal points in an intersectional context.
