queer bridges
*Building connections and providing resources for LGBTQIA+ individuals with migration experiences
Our newly developed Queer Bridges program is designed to foster connections and provide support for LGBTQIA+ individuals with migration experiences, aligning with our overall mission.
Queer people with migration experiences in Berlin often face challenges in their everyday lives such as language barriers, cultural differences and a lack of established networks, which can limit their access to supportive communities and inclusive environments.
Our newly developed Queer Bridges program is dedicated to overcoming these obstacles by providing resources, facilitating networking opportunities, and offering support in a welcoming environment. We celebrate the transformative power of community and diversity, promoting cultural exchange and personal growth through inclusive in-person and online programs and initiatives. Our goal is to empower queer people with migration experiences by creating offerings that nurture a sense of belonging within the local LGBTQIA+ community. By closing these gaps, we contribute to better and more enriching integration and improve the quality of life for all.
While our program is still in the process of being fully launched and not all events are available yet, we invite all interested individuals to send us an email to stay in touch for further updates. We will also have a survey available on this page soon for participants to share their needs with us, helping us tailor our support to better serve everyone. We appreciate your input.
