Description

Art grant writing seminar

with Ece Pazarbasi / Berlin Art Grant Clinic

This seminar aims to take our skills to the next level and equip participants to develop themselves in their professional artistic practice. The workshop will instruct step by step the narrative structure of a grant application.
We can learn how to write a project description, a cover letter, preparing a biography with a resume, writing an artistic statement and preparing a competitive portfolio.
Additionally, the participants will explore the ways of finding suitable international application calls for their project/artwork. The workshop aims at preparing participants to submit better applications to the up-coming open calls.

The workshop is part of our Art Bridge Berlin project aimed at supporting the inclusion of queer artists with refugee or migration experiences.

Berlin Art Grant Clinic is established in 2014 as a support system for artists, curators, NGOs and creative minds from all fields to help them to equip themselves for a successful career in the art scene. Through its seminars, workshops and consultancy practices it fills the gap between the art schools and the professional life, and helps cultural actors to sustain their careers as well as their lives. Established by Ece Pazarbaşı, the clinic coached more than 600 artists, curators, cultural managers and designers and helped so many of them to receive funding.
