*Information on the organizational goals
we are village is a place and a platform where queer people can find belonging and grow.
What we do:
We engage in embodied practices, experiential learning and encounters. In addition, we create meaningful and meaning-making connections between queer issues, queer art and social change.
We organize up to 550 events a year – many of them free of charge – and provide an overview of all the offers on our project page.
For whom:
we are village promotes a welcoming climate for all ages, gender identities, bodies, sexual orientations, abilities and support needs, cultural and ethnic backgrounds and socio-economic backgrounds.
We offer events and activities for queer masculinities, queer femininities, transgender, non-binary, genderfluid, intersex and other gender non-conforming people.
Our events are aimed at specific target groups on a project basis and support them with topics such as loneliness, migration or consumption.
- Some of our events, including those related to partner work and healing, are specifically designed for gay, bi, trans and queer men* or queer masculinities.
- Others are designed for gay, bi, trans and queer women* / queer femininities
- Some events support a range of interests that include some or all gender identities, sexual orientations or go beyond them.
- Some events are aimed at all our friends, allies and the general public.
Vision:
We are helping to create a world where queer people and communities can heal and grow, strengthening society as a whole.
