Ece Pazarbasi / Berlin Art Grant Clinic
This seminar aims to take your skills to the next level and equip its participants to develop themselves in their professional artistic practice. The course will instruct step by step through the narrative structure of a grant application. You will learn how to write a project description, a cover letter, preparing a biography and a resume, writing an artistic statement and preparing a competitive portfolio. Additionally, the participants will explore the ways of finding suitable International application calls for your project/artwork. The workshop aims at preparing you to submit better applications to the up-coming open calls. The workshop is part of our Art Bridge Berlin Project aimed at supporting the inclusion queer artists with refugee or migration experiences.
Berlin Art Grant Clinic is established in 2014 as a support system for artists, curators, NGOs and creative minds from all fields to help them to equip themselves for a successful career in the art scene. Through its seminars, workshops and consultancy practices it fills the gap between the art schools and the professional life, and helps cultural actors to sustain their careers as well as their lives. Established by Ece Pazarbaşı, the clinic coached more than 600 artists, curators, cultural managers and designers and helped so many of them to receive funding.
