Description
Village Outdoor / Tegeler Fließ
with Harms
On this circular hike you can discover together with Harms the Tegeler Fließtal, which is one of the most beautiful and valuable natural areas in Berlin. An unspoilt natural area of wet meadows and fens, at the same time a protected area for rare animals, plants and birds.
Our way leads us from the S-Bahn station Hermsdorf to Hermsdorfer See. Then we cross a large wetland on a wooden footbridge and walk along its northern edge towards Lübars, the oldest village in Berlin, where agriculture is still practiced today.
If we are lucky, we will find enough space in the summer garden of the inn to take a break.
The way back leads us over dirt roads and meadows again into the Tegeler Fließtal to the S-Bahn station Hermsdorf.
