we are village Join us for e*xtend — a global gathering of queer bodies, minds, and spirits we are village is a Berlin-based queer community center — a space to gather, discover, create, and simply be. Each month, we are village hosts a Community Weekend, offering a taste of the workshops and the strong sense of belonging that ties our community together.

For the first time this year, we are village is extending this experience beyond Berlin with e*xtend: an opportunity to join our workshops and connect with our queer community from anywhere in the world.

e*xtend welcomes queer folks who feel drawn to exploring their body, creativity, and inner queer spirit through shared practice and connection with others.

Programm

The program will feature three livestreamed workshops led by professional facilitators from the we are village family.They will include a mix of embodied practice, creative, and discussion-based and experimental sessions.

  “Write for Life, Write for Self” with Todd Join Todd Barrowclough
  a Sāmoan writer, to reflect on your life through writing inspired by creativity and culture. The workshop is taught in English, but you can write in any language you like.

  Online“Naked Yoga” with Mischa van Dulleman
  A nude yoga class to explore fragility and vulnerability in a safe space. It’s not about eroticism: all parts of our bodies are equally acknowledged as being part of our lives.

  “Dancing Little Mermaid” with Jorge Rodolfo De Hoyos Jr
  A fun dance class to loosen those joints and get your body limber! No experience needed, just come as you are, dance like you’re home alone, and get juicy, open, and activated.

Practical details

e*xtend workshops will take place on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. CET. Workshop access will be available from our we are village app.

To participate, you need a good internet connection, a smartphone, you can also use a laptop to assist to the workshops.
