Description

Village Queer Needlework

Village Queer Needlework is an inclusive group open to everyone interested in textile arts. We meet weekly to explore techniques and connect with the queer community in Berlin through collective projects. We exchange ideas for textile works, whether it be embroidery, knitting, crochet, weaving, sewing, quilting, or patchwork.

Our collective projects, which may span several weeks or months, are decided upon collaboratively and provide a platform for long-term cooperation and engagement.

You can also bring an existing project you want to work on, as we offer a supportive environment for individual creativity.
Our meetings foster connection and community, creating an inviting space for all participants. Together, we work to create a safe space for ourselves and others. We work together to create a safe space for ourselves and others.

The group also meets for other communal moments, such as outings to shop for materials and gather inspiration.
