Create yourself on your way (I N•U•D•E ME)

Queer Bridges Monday with Viva Ink Stains

Inspired by the nostalgic culture of paper dress-up dolls popular around the world this workshop invites participants to reimagine the classic paper doll through creativity, self-expression, and inclusivity. Traditional paper dolls often reflected a narrow image of beauty and style, commonly featuring similar appearances and fashion. This workshop expands that idea by encouraging a wider range of identities, aesthetics, and personal expression through doll-making.

Participants will create their own original paper doll with some unfinished available templates. The dolls and outfit bases will intentionally remain open-ended, without predefined hairstyles, skin tones, or clothing patterns, allowing each person to freely customize features, fashion, and character details. From casual looks to fantasy styles, every doll becomes a unique miniature representation of individuality and imagination.

Viva Ink Stains (she | her) is a visual artist whose distinctive drawing style captures emotions, moments, and rhythms with playful energy. Her practice spans animation, printed matter, and live drawing. Since 2019, she has been performing her imaginary nudie live drawing session, “I N•U•D•E YOU”. Since 2022, she has brought the performance to countless club nights, music festivals, and cultural venues. Over the past three years, she has “imaginarily N•U•D•E” more than 4,700 guests, transforming each encounter into a charming, intimate portrait shaped by her unique perspective and the energy of the music.

Queer Bridges: Forging connections and providing resources for LGBTQIA+ people with experiences of migration and/or displacement.

Queer people with experiences of migration and/or displacement in Berlin often face unique challenges in their daily lives that can limit their access to supportive communities and inclusive environments.

With the support of the Deutsche Fernsehlotterie Stiftung, we have developed the Queer Bridges program to overcome these barriers. We provide resources, networking and support in a welcoming environment for queer immigrants and refugees through our special program. Our goal is to foster a sense of belonging to the local LGBTQIA+ community, enabling smooth integration and an improved quality of life for queer folks with experiences of migration and/or displacement.

Notes Participants
This workshop is aimed at anyone who identifies as LGBTQIA+ and has experienced migration and/or refugee experience. If you do not share these experiences but are still interested in participating, please contact us first to clarify if there is a place available. We ask all participants to respect the focus of the program and to help create an open, respectful space.
