_July_ „The Body in Question“ – Exploring the Human Form Beyond Tradition
The human body is a powerful subject, but how do we represent it beyond conventional forms? In this workshop, we’ll challenge traditional approaches to figure drawing, experimenting with abstraction, distortion, and expressive techniques to convey emotion, identity, and experience. Whether you’re intrigued by anatomy, movement, or symbolism, this session invites you to rethink the way we see and depict the body in art.

What is Queer Images?
In these monthly sessions, you are invited to express yourself by making visual art. The focus is on process, not outcomes. We aim to open a channel to our personal creativity, while forging deeper connections with our inner selves and to each other. No special skills or “talent” is required, only the willingness to actively engage with a sense of curiosity.

Michael Rolnick was born in London where he trained as a dancer at The Royal Ballet Schools. His dance credits include work with Northern Ballet Theatre, Scottish Ballet, The Lindsay Kemp Company, AMP and numerous others. Michael also works as a choreographer and makes visual art. Additionally, he teaches Pilates and is a co-facilitator of our Authentic Eros One-Year Training.
