Rhythms of Intimate Connection - Awakening of Sensual Energy
Sensual Touch Lab Series
With Yousef Iskandar
Touch is an essential and transformative human experience. It has the power to reconnect us with our bodies, our desires, and each other. In this workshop, we focus on the revival of sexual energy as a natural, healing force, exploring how genuine touch can create meaningful and authentic connections.
This workshop will help participants develop a framework for understanding their own boundaries and desires. How can we differentiate between what we truly dislike and what we are simply afraid to try? How can we step slightly out of our comfort zones while remaining true to ourselves?
We will also explore touch as a form of embodied communication, similar to dance—it can be slow and gentle or intense and energetic, with or without music, but it always carries a rhythm. Participants will learn how to use their voices to express sensations honestly as a natural way to convey pleasure. However, we emphasize that these expressions must come from an authentic place—true sounds of pleasure that reflect real feelings, rather than signals designed to mislead or perform for another.
Yousef Iskandar is a Lebanese multidisciplinary artist who also leads workshops exploring movement, sensuality, and self-expression. What is Sensual Touch Lab Series for GBTQ Men*?
Sensual Touch Lab Series for GBTQ Men* is a monthly workshop where we aim to create a space for sensual closeness and playful encounters.
Embodied, somatic experiences that appreciate our full-bodied nature. Using sensuality as an approach to explore new ways of dealing with our own fears or patterns related to nudity, intimacy, and touch. We invite you to explore, communicate, and possibly expand your personal boundaries within a framework of mutual respect and consent. This opens up the opportunity to experience the power of touch, sensation, and non-verbal interpersonal connection.
Each event will be a guided process, which will have a special touch depending on the theme and background of the facilitator*, whether it be bodywork and touch, somatics and intimacy, or something else. These short workshops may include nudity, partner exercises or close physical interactions.
