Release rosé #2 – Queer Art Zine
with Sarah Berger & Benjamin Egger
The second issue of rosé, a Berlin-based queer community art zine, is out now! This issue, titled ›Interconnectedness‹, dives into the social and political impacts of HIV/AIDS and explores how the experiences of HIV/AIDS connect people across the world.
To mark the release, the editors Sarah Berger and Benjamin Egger will introduce the issue, followed by a conversation between philosophy professor Gen Eickers and researcher, curator and archivist David Aaron Swartz. They’ll discuss intergenerational community as a foundation for active remembrance, linking topics like HIV/AIDS, club culture, queer creativity, intersectionality, social cohesion, and societal change.
Sarah Berger is a Berlin-based genderqueer author, photographer, performance artist, and queer-feminist activist. Recently they published the play ›How You’re Holding Up‹ in ›Literarisch Solidarisch‹ (2026, Verbrecher Verlag). Their photo series ›Holes‹ was exhibited in ›Apropos Sex‹ at Museum of Communication Berlin through September 2026.
Benjamin Egger is a researcher at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam and is pursuing a PhD on ›A queer perspective on post-digital curation‹ at Leuphana University of Lüneburg. Most recently, he worked at the Museum of Communication Berlin, among others.
Berger and Egger are the founders and editors of the queer art zine rosé.
