Description
Village Outdoor – Berlin Wall Trail
with Harms Wulf and Daniel Salamon
Section 4 – from Hermsdorf via Hohen Neuendorf to Frohnau
On this section of the Wall Trail, we walk around the northernmost tip of the former Berlin Wall.
As on the previous route, we experience an alternation of suburban buildings, forests and nature reserves. Special sights will include a
detour to a Buddhist house (1920), a preserved border tower, which today serves as a nature conservation centre, and the garden city of Frohnau, a villa colony based on the British model from the beginning of the 20th century.
Village Outdoor Events are a monthly gathering for the we are village community and their friends to explore the outdoor nature in Berlin and beyond including forest hikes, bike tours, lake swimming, city sights, kayaking in the surrounding countryside and more. The foundation of the Outdoor Events is a free and relatively easy walk or hike once a month in Berlin’s green areas and locations reachable within the S&U Bahns
