Federal Association of Psychosocial Centers for Refugees and Victims of Torture – BAfF is the umbrella organization of psychosocial centers, institutions and initiatives that are committed to providing psychosocial and therapeutic care for refugees in Germany. The registered association emerged from a series of national meetings at which the idea of a nationwide alliance of psychosocial centers in Germany was discussed. As a result, the establishment of the BAfF was decided and put into practice in 1997 with the official registration as an association.
