Queer Yoga for men* / All Levels

Come and join us for a dynamic and energizing class that will ground you and clear your mind through breathing and moving together. In a supportive environment that embraces diversity and queerness, all aspects of you are welcome. The classes stimulate strength, suppleness, and mindfulness, in a way that is not competitive and where each person can work on his own level.

Mischa teaches movement, yoga, partner yoga, contact improvisation, and Thai Yoga Massage.

Between the ages of 18 and 38, I was a dancer working and touring internationally. I took my first yoga class in 1990 and since then I’ve never stopped practicing and studying yoga in some form or another. I like to make my classes playful and challenging; stimulating strength, suppleness, and physical awareness, in a way that is not competitive and each person can work on his or her own level.

Merdan Akbayir has been working in the fields of yoga, massage and bodywork for more than 10 years, first in Amsterdam and now in Berlin. He studied various embodiment practices and works intuitively and from the heart. His academic background is in Biology and Dance, which he enjoys integrating into his practices. He is co-facilitator in a yoga teacher training, gives workshops and retreats. When he is not teaching or massaging, you can find him working as a tour guide at the Naturkundemuseum Berlin.

All levels and bodies are welcome.
Wear comfortable clothes.
Language: We’ll speak English and/or German, depending on the needs of the group.
Cost: For members, this counts as one of the three free events per month.
