Dare to Love – Being seen and appreciated on an intimate level, being sexually alive and connected, arises from a deep human need. Authentic Eros was founded in 2002 by Kai Ehrhardt and emerged from a gay context through collaboration with various schools and partners. The philosophy of Authentic Eros is based on an integrative approach, combining elements of psychology, somatic practice, and spiritual development. With the question “What is Eros?” we create a bridge from the body through sexuality, gender, and community, to the larger dynamics in the fabric of life. The topics include body awareness, emotional intimacy, sexual energy, and personal development. Authentic Eros offers a unique space to explore intimacy and sexual well-being in a safe, respectful, and playful environment. Together with a team of colleagues, Kai Ehrhardt offers courses specifically designed for queer men* seeking deeper connections with themselves and others – free from societal norms, media influences, and the often superficial nature of intimate experiences.

Authentic Eros events provide a framework in which aspects related to closeness, sexuality, and communication can be explored, transformed, learned, or healed.
These workshops invite you to reflect on what truly matters in moments of intimacy: What hopes and expectations do you have for intimate encounters? How would you like to express your needs? With techniques that promote body awareness, presence, and self-reflection, you are encouraged to discover your authentic path to intimacy and question old patterns.
If you want to develop your capacity for intimacy, explore your boundaries, nourish yourself in a loving environment, or simply have a great time with yourself and other explorers, the Authentic Eros workshops are right for you.

Authentic Eros creates a safe and playful space to reflect on what we truly want, think, feel, or experience in relation to intimacy and sexuality. We examine specific aspects of encounters to learn from each other, recognize our habits, and venture into new relational spaces – based on our individual needs.
Authentic Eros offers the opportunity to become more conscious of what you really want in love and intimacy – and to find your own unique path. Members receive discounts on workshops. We invite you to dive deeper, ask questions, or simply attend an event. It’s worth it!

Kai Ehrhardt founded Village.Berlin in 2016 (today: we are village) and the Somatic Academy Berlin in 2012. Kai is in charge of the management and development of both projects. He also develops and facilitates workshops & trainings and curates the STRETCH and BODY IQ festivals. As a somatic educator, he teaches the Prof. Middendorfs Breathexperience and Continuum and holds the German Heilpraktiker license for psychotherapy. In 2002 he founded Authentic Eros – an offer for gay, bi and trans group processes around intimacy and touch, communication and personal development.
