Since 1986, the “BEGiNE-Culture Women” have been organizing a monthly changing, cross-disciplinary cultural program with an international focus . In these varied cultural events with music (rock, pop, world music, jazz, chanson, classical music), cabaret, theater, readings by well-known and unknown authors, film screenings, slide shows, information and discussion events and exhibitions, current developments in the cultural work of women are presented.

In addition, women can expand their knowledge, discuss their political views and plan joint actions in various courses, educational and information events . At the same time, BEGiNE culture promotes the exchange of women who work in different disciplines, women who work in science and art, and artists from different fields. The opportunity to make contacts often leads to new working relationships.

We place particular emphasis on supporting newcomers to art and culture! We support and advise women in developing and implementing their own creative forms of expression and encourage them to present these to the public.

In addition to the cultural area, BEGiNE is used as a meeting place for various women’s groups and initiatives . In addition to politically active groups or members of different professional groups who meet to exchange ideas, there are also sports groups who come after training, or other leisure groups such as choirs, motorcyclists, etc. who plan their activities.

BEGiNE-Kultur also offers the opportunity to hold events in the event room on your own responsibility. The room is available for workshops, conferences, seminars, association and club meetings, self-help groups, and dance and theater groups . (see also room rental ).
