The LSVD (entire group, not just the Berlin-based branch) is the strongest and most successful advocacy group for lesbians and gays in Germany with over 4,000 members. In the LSVD, lesbians and gays, bisexuals and transgender people work together for equal rights and social recognition. People with different cultural, ethnic, or religious backgrounds work together on an equal basis.
