Queer Needlework Circle

QNC collective

The Queer Needlework Circle (QNC) is a group of LGBTQIA+ textile needleworkers who meet regularly to share different techniques and work creatively together.

The group meets weekly to exchange ideas on textile crafts, and each member creates their own garments. This may involve embroidery, knitting, crochet, weaving, sewing, quilting or patchwork, for example…

You can also bring an existing craft project to work on.

At each meeting, participants share their experiences and support each other in the creative process. Workshops will also be organized to focus on a particular technique.

The group also gets together for other moments of sharing, such as group shopping trips for the purchase of materials and inspiration.

Anyone who can thread the eye of a needle and identifies within the LGBTQIA+ is encouraged to participate in our events. What happens in the circle stays in the circle, together we work to create a safe space for ourselves and others.

Join our Circle!

This event will be held in German or English depending on the needs of the group.
