Skin-to-Skin
Sensual Touch Lab Series with Jorge De Hoyos
What is the first thing another person’s skin tells us?
Our skin is often the first physical contact we have with another person — whether family, a friend, a lover, or a stranger. In this lab, we’ll focus on the sensations of our skin in giving and receiving touch with other queer men. We’ll explore qualities and intentions of skin-to-skin touch, and notice what arises in our experience: feelings, memories, desires, pure sensations, ideas…
Nudity is welcome, as is staying clothed — but skin-to-skin contact is the main exploration. Our session will be framed with group agreements around consent, listening, and giving space to each other for trying things and checking in.
What to expect
• Partner exercises in giving and receiving skin-to-skin touch, exploring different qualities: weight, pace, texture, intention
• Space to notice what arises — sensations, emotions, or simply presence — and to share if you want
• Group agreements around consent throughout, so you can try things and check in as you go
• Nudity is welcome, as is staying clothed. The workshop does not include genital touch.
• You will be partnered with different participants. All practices are optional.

What is Sensual Touch Lab Series for GBTQ+ Men*?
Sensual Touch Lab Series for GBTQ+ Men* is a monthly workshop where we aim to create a space for sensual closeness and playful encounters.
Embodied, somatic experiences that appreciate our full-bodied nature. Using sensuality as an approach to explore new ways of dealing with our own fears or patterns related to nudity, intimacy, and touch. We invite you to explore, communicate, and possibly expand your personal boundaries within a framework of mutual respect and consent. This opens up the opportunity to experience the power of touch, sensation, and non-verbal interpersonal connection.
Each event will be a guided process, which will have a special touch depending on the theme and background of the facilitator*, whether it be bodywork and touch, somatics and intimacy, or something else. These short workshops may include nudity, partner exercises or close physical interactions.
Benefits:
