Description
Village Outdoor – Berlin Wall Trail
with Harms Wulf & Daniel Salamon
Section 3 – from Schönholz S-Bahn station to Hermsdorf
In keeping with spring, our May hike on the Wall Trail leads from the densely built-up urban area to the greener outskirts of Berlin. Starting from Schönholz station, the strip of the Wall was designed into a park-like green belt. Here we can discover a piece of wall from the first construction phase, which was made of bricks instead of precast concrete elements. Passing a mixture of allotments, industrial areas and single-family housing estates, we reach the last sec:on of the hike, the fields and meadows of Blankenfelde and Lübars with the Tegeler Fliess near Hermsdorf.
Streckenlänge: ca. 12 km, (bei Bedarf bitte Proviant mitbringen, eine Einkehrmöglichkeit ist erst am Ende der Wanderung möglich)
