Description

Cuddle Puddle

with Max Wenzlaff & Stefan (Steffi) Reck

Cuddle Puddle provides a safe and welcoming space for GBTQ men* to experience non-sexual touch, promote emotional well-being, and establish healthy boundaries, contributing positively to the community’s overall mental health and sense of belonging.

You decide what feels right for you – whether you prefer more distance or closeness. In our guided Cuddle Puddles, the focus is on self-awareness and mutual respect, so that everyone’s well-being and needs are maintained.

Max Wenzlaff: As a gay cisgender man with a childhood next to the eastern side of the Berlin Wall, I continue to discover the meaning of connection. I am exploring the balance between communication, empathy, physicality, sexuality, and emotional needs.

I believe that tenderness, touch, and physical contact are essential resources of interaction – with others and with oneself. In my professional life I create interfaces between people and processes.

Steffi is a gay cis man, mental health first aider and is involved with the Radical Faeries and Intimate Buddies. His life has always been shaped by activism for the LGBTIQ* and HIV communities. Professionally, he has experience in finance and payroll accounting as well as property management and was involved in setting up a queer gastronomy business in Berlin.

He discovered Cuddle Puddles at Waldschlösschen. The combination of consent, mindfulness and touching energy inspired him so much that he later offered it himself – and since the beginning of 2024, he has also been offering it monthly with Max at the Village.
