Calling all Queer Engineers! We Are Village is hosting our FIRST EVER Hackathon!
Over two days, we will come together to engineer something real: a standalone we are village Volunteer app, designed to help community members find suitable volunteer roles, to help them stay connected, and feel genuinely recognised for their work.
This isn’t about shipping a commercial product. It’s about using technology to strengthen the people behind village’s mission: a community that brings people together across backgrounds, borders, and experiences.
The two days are designed to balance focused building with space to connect, share ideas, and have fun. Lunch and snacks are on us.
Who is this for?
We welcome backend and frontend developers of all levels who know their way around GitHub and want to spend a weekend coding for a cause that matters — strengthening our community through technology. The tech stack is your’s to choose.
