Meditation
with Leon, Tony, Alan and Paz
The Queer Meditation Group provides LGBTQIA+ individuals with a safe space to engage in an exploratory approach to meditation through gentle body tuning, breath awareness, and conscious sitting practice.
Led by four experienced teachers in rotation, each facilitator brings their unique experiences in Mindfulness, Zen, Vipassana, and other forms of meditation. Previous meditation experience is not necessary.
General Information
Language: We’ll speak English and/or German, depending on the needs of the group.
Facilitators: The queer meditation group is led by a rotating group of four moderators.

Leon Taubert, graduate psychologist, training in integrative, body-oriented psychotherapy, sexual counseling (DGfS), Hatha Yoga (Vinyasa style). Various meditation retreats in Southeast Asia and Germany, mainly in the Theravada Buddhist tradition.
Tony Just is from the US and has lived in Berlin for 13 years. He is an artist who practices meditation, Reiki, and tree hugging.
Alan Lessik is a novelist, queer activist and Zen practitioner. He taught meditation at Queer Dharma at the San Francisco Zen Center and was a guest teacher at the SF LGBTQ Sangha.
Paz is a certified coach and meditation teacher creating affirming spaces for LGBTQ+ people. Trained in trauma-sensitive practice, psychedelic integration, Jungian approaches and Internal Family Systems (IFS), they bring a compassionate and inclusive approach to meditation, consciousness and inner work.
