Regenerative Touch

Levels of Touch with Florian Filtzinger

Touch is a versatile form of communication. It can be a witness to our experiences, activate or calm us, and be both profound and gentle. Touch has the power to heal and teach, to ask questions and tell stories.

In this two-hour workshop, we will explore the different tissues of our body and learn how to communicate with them. We’ll discover how touch can deepen and stimulate communication – perhaps in one of the most beautiful forms of human interaction.

Florian Filtzinger studied Anthropology & Communication Science and worked in manifold projects of queer Berlin since 2013. Throughout his experience, he saw how most of the time our bodies needed to be of use or needed repair when they were sick or not functioning well enough. In 2017 he engaged in the study of somatics at the Somatic Academy Berlin and now offers courses to uplift the body as a true resource for wisdom, joy and depth in our lives.

What is Regenarative Touch?
Regenerative Touch monthly workshop where we explore together to slow down, drop into our bodies and explore the profound impact of human touch in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Touch, often overlooked in daily life, is a basic human need. In these workshops, we create a space solely for its regenerative and healing power, free from any romantic or sexual connotations.

Touch communicates directly, reaching places words cannot. Did you ever experience the calming effect of a warm embrace or a comforting hand on your shoulder? Even a brief 15-minute hand-holding session can lead to a significant decrease in heart rate, reduction in blood pressure, signaling a strong relaxation response. A simple 20-second hug can lead to higher levels of oxytocin, the hormone associated with bonding and trust.

Every Month, our facilitator will lead discussions on themes like presence, nervous system regulation, and emotional safety, focusing on hands-on experiences rather than techniques. No bodywork experience necessary—just bring your curiosity.
