Description
Kissing dojo
Sensual Touch Lab Series mit Noam Raz
A kiss can be gentle, intense, shy, or hungry. It can open doors, create longing, or reveal boundaries. In this Dojo, we will take time to explore kissing in a delicate and detailed way, paying close attention to the physical, emotional, and relational nuances inside this exciting act.
The exploration will be slow, gradual, and methodical. We will give a great deal of importance to digestion (verbal and non-verbal), as it happens, moving back and forth between stimulation and regulation. This creates a space that supports noticing how much of a weight a kiss could actually carry, how intimate it is to come into such contact with another, and what is a good and aligned way for me to do it with this person now.
What to expect:
This Dojo is for anyone curious about exploring lip-to-lip contact in a systematic and attentive way. The emphasis is on cultivating the ability to listen — to each other and to oneself. Making space for all sensations, emotions and parts of ourselves that may arise.
We begin with a solo somatic warm up (Feldenkrais inspired), to get into dialogue with the body. Spending some time with sensations and impulses, without the relational element. From there we move into partner work, gently introducing contact and consent. Participants are encouraged to say no, or check and then say no (or yes), and to follow their own pace throughout.
Roughly half of the workshop is devoted to preparation before lip-to-lip contact, using forms of touch and interaction that most people find comfortable with anyone.
Noam Raz is a workshop facilitator, therapist, Feldenkrais Practitioner and Family Constellation guide. His work is driven by sensitivity and is an attempt to create experiential spaces for people to develop autonomy and trust in their own body and internal processes. Throughout the years, he trained and explored a variety of physical and embodiment practices which inform and enrich his work: Dance, Taiji, Somatics, Kink, Voicework and Meditation. Coming originally from the realm of Philosophy (Wittgenstein!) and Linguistics, attention to language and its workings is somehow always in the background. www.noamra.com
What is Sensual Touch Lab Series for GBTQ Men*?
Sensual Touch Lab Series for GBTQ Men* is a monthly workshop where we aim to create a space for sensual closeness and playful encounters.
Embodied, somatic experiences that appreciate our full-bodied nature. Using sensuality as an approach to explore new ways of dealing with our own fears or patterns related to nudity, intimacy, and touch. We invite you to explore, communicate, and possibly expand your personal boundaries within a framework of mutual respect and consent. This opens up the opportunity to experience the power of touch, sensation, and non-verbal interpersonal connection.
Each event will be a guided process, which will have a special touch depending on the theme and background of the facilitator*, whether it be bodywork and touch, somatics and intimacy, or something else. These short workshops may include nudity, partner exercises or close physical interactions.
