Tomas and Martin are a gay couple living in Paris whose marriage is thrown into crisis when Tomas impulsively begins a passionate affair with young schoolteacher Agathe. But when Martin begins an affair of his own, Tomas must confront life decisions he may be unprepared— or unwilling—to deal with. – MUBI

Set in contemporary Paris, In Ira Sachs and writer Mauricio Zacharias latest collaboration, we are thrown into a what might first appear as idyllic sexy urban boho-chic lives, which then leads to a messy fall out between lovers. For this screening we will examine some of the appeal in open relationships, unexpected developments as a result of them, and what free will means in such dynamics. Also, the roll of costumes in character development will be highlighted as part of the discussion.
