Description

Village Outdoor – From Staaken along the Havel to Kladow

with Daniel Salamon

Our hike in October starts in the west of Berlin. From Staaken station, the route heads south on the Berlin Wall Trail. We visit the village green of Alt Staaken, the Fort Hahneberg, before we go over former sewage fields to the village of Gatow. From here we follow the banks of the Havel, past the listed Neukladow estate and estate park to the waterfront promenade of the village of Kladow with a ferry dock for our return trip to the S-Bahn station Wannsee.
