Queer Images: exploring creativity and connection
with Michael Rolnick
_Juni_ „Drawing Movement“ – Capturing Energy and Motion on Paper
How do you draw something that won’t stay still? In this dynamic workshop, we’ll explore ways to capture movement using gesture, rhythm, and expressive line work. Through quick sketches, experimental mark-making, and exercises inspired by dance and action, you’ll learn how to bring energy and life to your drawings. Ideal for anyone looking to loosen up their style and embrace spontaneity in their art.
What is Queer Images?
In these monthly sessions, you are invited to express yourself by making visual art. The focus is on process, not outcomes. We aim to open a channel to our personal creativity, while forging deeper connections with our inner selves and to each other. No special skills or “talent” is required, only the willingness to actively engage with a sense of curiosity.
Michael Rolnick was born in London where he trained as a dancer at The Royal Ballet Schools. His dance credits include work with Northern Ballet Theatre, Scottish Ballet, The Lindsay Kemp Company, AMP and numerous others. Michael also works as a choreographer and makes visual art. Additionally, he teaches Pilates and is a co-facilitator of our Authentic Eros One-Year Training.
