After crossing the cosmos, traveling to the interior of icy ice rocks, a new species changes the course of the blue planet, when millions of them impact on the vastness of the earth. A mutant and capitular film that gathers the transfuturist work of the Crisálida Cine collective during the last years.

Crisálida is a film collective based in Medellín, Colombia. The collective is interested in making films that find in form and language their only way of existing, through experimentation with their very materiality and their relation to other possibilities of expression. Works that explore their own paths around the body, animality, womanhood, the queer body, science fiction, processes of hybridization, and faith in the world.

Crisálida’s films have been presented at festivals such as Mar del Plata Film Festival, Rotterdam, Zinebi, FID Marseille, FIC Valdivia, Clermont-Ferrand, Ficunam, Havana Film Festival, Moscow International Film Festival, Indie Lisboa, Ficci, Midbo, among others.
