Village Outdoor – Berlin Wall Trail

Section 2 – from Mauerpark to Schönholz S-Bahn staton
Our second stage on the Berlin Wall Trail leads through the very busy Mauerpark, with its flea market and karaoke arena on Sundays, in the directon of Bornholmer Straße with a memorial to the opening of the Wall on 09.11.1989. From here we follow a sec:on of the former death strip, where some remains of the old border for:fica:ons can s:ll be discovered. Passing the Bürgerpark, we reach the endpoint of our hike, the Schönholz S-Bahn staton.
Distance: approx. 5 km, a stop in a café is planned.
The Village Outdoor Events are a monthly gathering for the we are village community and their friends to explore the outdoor nature in Berlin and beyond including forest hikes, bike tours, lake swimming, city sights, kayaking in the surrounding countryside and more. The foundation of the Outdoor Events is a free and relatively easy walk or hike once a month in Berlin’s green areas and locations reachable within the S&U Bahns.
